I wanted to share an awesome Customer Service experience. I called Duncan K-9 Grooming yesterday for an emergency groom for my nursing dog. She made me an appointment for today. She only took 1 hour ( I bathed the dog at home) and Kneesaa looks great! She also comped me the cut, only asking that I pass her card on to the people who would be getting the puppies. April 4th ~ Happy Birthday Nicholas!!
Big shout out to my nephew Nick on his 16th b-day!
My bi-weekly shop wasn't too exciting this time. I found that we are running out of things to run out on!!! We have pasta, rice, canned soups, cereal, tp, pitstick etc....lots of extras now. I pretty much just grabbed some meat that was on sale and a bit of odds and sods. My best deal was Tide Laundry Soup. It is on sale again....here is the deal
Proctor and Gamble just put out a coupon flyer in the Citizen Newpaper last week. It has a coupon buy any 2 Tides you save $5.00.
So SuperStore has tide on Sale right now. (So does Canadian Tire but SS beats it!)
1.47 L (26washes) 1.47 Ltr reg price $8.77 sale price $5.97 (buy 2 and use coupon) now $ 3.47 each!! save $10.60 *** This is the better deal .....saving 3.61 per litre
2.95 L (64 washes) 2.95 ltr reg price $15.97 sale price $ 11.97 (buy 2 and use coupon) now $ 9.47 each!!
save $13.00 *** only saving $2.21 per litre.
Thought I got Imperial Margarine 1.35 kg for a good sale price of $3.28 but Country Grocer has it this week for $2.97.

Lancia Pasta 900g....3 for $5.00
Kraft Peanut Butter....$3.97 for 1 kg.
Not a good deal is the Charmin 20 dbl rolls for $8.97....works out to be 38 cents per roll. Charmin does offer coupons all the time so this could be better still.
Only a great deal if you can get it close to 30 cents. Selena has found it down to 20 cents. (We only look at double rolls.)
I got Royale dbl roll (24) for $8.98 then used a $1.00 off coupon. Got it down to 34 cents. Not great but not bad.
Right now I am working on a spread sheet for Cereal. I am sick of seeing what I think is a sale but isn't really because the sizes are all different. Did you know that Kellog's has at least 6 different sizes for "Jumbo". I will post it when I have completed it. *Superstore has an inhouse coupon valid until Apr. 22nd buy 3 kellogs cereals or Vector (210 g- 1.45kg) get $3.00 off. If you go through cereal the way I do this is a bonus.
Quick story to share.....
I was geeking out, swapping coupon brags with a friendly lady at Superstore and I asked her if she price matches with the flyers. She replies that she only uses coupons. GaWD!! Note to all: You will save FAR more if you price match that just use coupons!!! Superstore and Walmart both offer this service. Although I do feel that Superstore has a larger selection of brands... Walmart always has more tills open, they bag and DO NOT need "supervisor override" for every coupon and price match. If ya don't want to waste unneccesary time....go to Walmart. They also post all the competitors flyers at thier front door.
Any hoo..... Flyers come out tomorrow so I will catch you all up before the weekend.

Sports Traders Coupons.

I was sick of writing a shopping list every week so I typed one up. Now I just print it out and both Jeff and I can just put a check mark on the things we have run out of. I use the 2nd and 3rd column to note sale prices and which flyer they came out off. That way when I am shopping I don't have a freak out trying to remember where the deal was.
